A Step Above

Okay, if you have driven through Medford, Oregon on Interstate 5 (North or South) you will have had to of seen two mountains with incredibly flat tops (mesa). Not being known to leave well enough alone we pursued these lumps further than just a subtle driveby. We ended up driving through a little town known as White City and playing slave to the little brown signs that pointed the way. By now, it is close to 4pm which left little time for exploration (but still enough time to get into some trouble.) The road ended at the trail head to the lower Table Top Mtn. It offers a 3.5 mile loop (with the first 1.75 miles being straight up.) I'm sorry to say that we were slower going up the trail than the sun was falling out of the sky so the top we did not make (thank you Yoda).
